Taken after our first mountain pass out of Lukla, this black and white photograph captures the journey towards Mera Peak in Nepal.

Snow lay between the rocks as we continued across the ridge, with cloud obscuring the mountains beyond. Two trekkers and a stone monument stand out against the sky, a glimpse of the terrain we were travelling through early in the expedition.
